Synth Library (project currently on pause)

Welcome to the Synth Library! This Autumn you will be able to rent our equipment, bring it home and make music on your own!

When? 18. October-20. December. Pick-ups on Mondays.

Where? The pick-up and return address depend on the gear you choose and it will be provided per e-mail once the booking has been made.

How much? It is a free service.

How does it work? Like a library!
Some key facts:

  • Each instrument can be rent for a week. With a possibility of renewal if that specific device hasn’t been booked for the following week.

  • Pick-up and returns will be done on Monday at the designated address.

  • Below you can find a list of gear and a gallery of images. Click on the image to find more information about each instrument.

  • To book a device write us to soundsqueervienna@gmail.com, with the model and dates on which you want to rent it and your name. We will try to manage the calendar in a way that everybody can get to use the equipment.

  • Cables: No audio cables are included and in some models the power suplly cable is also not included. Please, check all the information properly.

  • Most of the devices have a user manual easy to find online.

  • drum machines: Roland TR 505, Yamaha QY10, Yamaha Digital Drummer MR1, Arturia Drumbrute, Drum Computer MFB-503.

  • soundcard: Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 MK2.

  • MIDI controllers: Alesis Q25, Korg nanocontrol 2, Le String midi strum controller, ARPIE midi arpeggiator.

  • condenser microphone: Sontronics STC-20, mic stand, and pop filter.

  • 19inch rack modul: reverb rack Lexicon MX 300.

  • Pedal chorus effect tc electronics June-60.

  • Mutable Instruments System including Links, Shades, Ears, Ripples, Tides, Veils, Plaits, Rings and Warp (modules can’t be rent separately).

  • 2x Touch Boards (Bare Conductive). To create interactive installations, with touch and movement sensors.
